Cookie Policy

In short

  • Cookies keep you signed in and remember your language and cookie choice.
  • Analytics cookies are set only with your consent.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site saves in your browser to recognise it on later requests. The browser's local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way: we keep your chosen theme there, and it is never sent to our server.

2. Necessary cookies

The site doesn't work without them, so they don't require consent:

• session (better-auth.session_token) — keeps you signed in until you sign out or the session expires; • sign-in helper cookies — protect signing in with Google, last a few minutes; • language (NEXT_LOCALE) — remembers your chosen language, 1 year; • consent (cookie_consent) — remembers your choice in the cookie banner, 1 year.

All of these are set by wish.tips itself and aren't shared with third parties.

3. Analytics

Analytics helps us understand which parts of the site are used and what to improve. Its scripts load only after you click “Accept all”; if you choose “Only necessary”, they don't load at all.

No third-party analytics is connected to the site right now. If we add it, we'll name the service and the cookies it sets here — and they will still work only with your consent.

4. Managing cookies

You can change your choice with the “Change cookie settings” button at the bottom of this page — the banner will show again. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but without the necessary cookies you won't be able to sign in.

5. Contact

Send questions about cookies to hello@wish.tips.
